葛坚，教授，医学博士、博士研究生导师。曾任中山大学中山眼科中心主任，眼科学国家重点实验室主任，中华眼科学会青光眼学组组长。现任国家973项目首席科学家，眼科学国家重点实验室终身名誉主任，中华医学会眼科学分会名誉主任委员，中国医师协会眼科学分会副会长，广东省眼科学会主任委员，亚太青光眼协会常务理事，中国医师协会循证医学专业委员会常委暨循证眼科学组长，SCI 期刊MolVis共同主编，《眼科学报》主编，《中华眼科杂志》及《中华实验眼科杂志》副总编。从事眼科临床及研究工作30余年，在青光眼诊治、白内障超声乳化与眼内窥镜激光治疗疑难青光眼、干细胞研究、近视眼防治等方面有较高的造诣。所领导的团队相继获得了973计划（首席科学家）、863重大专项、卫生部临床重点学科项目、教育部科学技术研究重大项目、国家自然科学重点项目基金等多项基金的资助，获得国家科技进步二等奖、教育部及广东省科技进步一等奖等奖项十余次。截至目前，单独或与他人合作发表论文330篇，其中SCI收录论文140篇。主编人民卫生出版社《眼科手术学》第三版、《临床青光眼》第二版、卫生部统编八年制《眼科学》教材、教育部五年制《眼科学》教材和《现代青光眼研究进展》。已培养博士研究生71名，已出站博士后8名，其中17次获得国家自然科学基金，1人获得全国百篇优秀博士论文奖。分别获得“首届中山大学名医”、“全国医院优秀院长”、“广东省优秀院长”、“中华眼科杰出成就奖”、“中国医师奖”、亚太眼科学会“杰出服务奖”、中美眼科学会“金钥匙奖”、世界青光眼协会“高级研究科学家奖”（“Senior Research Scientist”奖）和“突出贡献奖”（Recognition Award），澳大利亚政府“杰出创新奖”（“Excellence in Innovation”奖），亚太眼科学会“最高学术奖”(“De Ocampo”奖)等荣誉。被《中华眼科杂志》评为2000-2015年间中国眼科界高学术影响力（H因子）专家之一。

Prof. Ge’s research covers many aspects of ophthalmology and vision research, ranging from basic science to clinical fields. The followings have been involved: (1) Mechanism of experimental myopia in rhesus monkeys; (2) Gene screen and function in familial primary open angle glaucoma; (3) Stem cell and regeneration, iPS and tissue engineering in ophthalmology; (4) Wound healing and modulation of scar formation after glaucoma surgery; (5) New alternatives in the treatment of glaucoma, special interest in Phaco, Shunt, Laser therapy.
Currently, Prof. Ge is Member of standing committee of the Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society, Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Ophthalmologic Society, Vice chairman of the Chinese Eye Doctor Association, Former Chairman of the Chinese Glaucoma Society, Honorary Lifetime Director of State Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology, Chairman of Guangdong Eye Doctor Association, Member of standing committee of the Evidence-based medicine committee of the Chinese doctor association, Editor-in-chief of Eye Science and Molecular Vision, Vice editor-in-chief of Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology and Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology.
Prof. Ge has ever got big government funding, including The National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program) for the pathogenesis and management for irreversible blindness eye diseases; the Key project of national natural science funding for the stem cell and tissue engineering therapy for the irreversible blindness.
刘奕志，主任医师，教授，中山大学中山眼科中心主任、眼科医院院长，白内障科学科带头人。博士，博士生导师，国务院特殊津贴专家。亚太眼科学会常务理事，中华医学会眼科分会常务委员，中华医学会眼科分会白内障人工晶状体学组副组长，广东省医学会副会长，广东省医学会眼科分会主任委员，《Molecular Vision》共同主编，《current Molecular Medicine》杂志副主编，《中华眼科杂志》等核心眼科杂志编委。从事眼科医疗、教学、科研及防盲工作30年，是国内最早开展白内障超声乳化联合人工晶体植入术的专家之一，为国内外白内障患者施术近20万例。擅长各种类型白内障超声乳化联合人工晶体植入手术，尤其对先天性白内障、晶状体脱位、硬核白内障、青光眼术后的白内障、合并葡萄膜炎的白内障、外伤性白内障等复杂病例的治疗具有极为丰富的临床经验。率先在国内开展超声乳化手术，并不断创新技术，在国际上率先开展扭动模式超声乳化手术，国内率先开展双手微切口超声乳化技术，囊袋张力环植入术等多项新技术。目前承担国家自然科学基金国际合作项目1项，卫生部临床重点项目1项及国家自然科学基金、广东省自然科学基金等6项。主要从事晶状体发育、晶状体再生、发育基因的调控、晶状体蛋白质组学以及后发障防治机理以及超声乳化手术对眼组织的影响、人工晶状体研发等研究。以第一作者/通讯作者在国内外核心杂志发表论文80多篇，其中SCI 42篇；并获得国家科技进步奖、省科技进步一等奖等6项科技进步奖以及5项实用新型专利。已培养并指导38名博士研究生从事白内障防治的基础及临床研究，其中培养杰青1名，新世纪人才2名，培养硕士博士生导师13名。曾荣获中国青年科技奖，全国中青年医学科技之星，中央保健工作先进个人，中国百名优秀青年志愿者，卫生部有突出贡献的中青年专家，全国优秀科普院长，广东省十大杰出青年，广东省突出贡献专家，广东省优秀中青年专家，广东省志愿服务最高荣誉奖，广东省五一劳动奖章，广东省优秀共产党员等多项荣誉称号。

Dr. Yizhi Liu is Professor and President of Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Chief of National 973 Programs. Dr. Liu is the Standing Committee of Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress (APAO), Vice Chairman of Chinese Ophthalmological Society, Vice Leader of Cataract and Artificial Lens Group, Chinese Ophthalmological Society, Vice Chairman of Guangdong Medical Association, Chairman of Guangdong Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Liu also serves as co-Editor-in-Chief of the journal Molecular Vision, and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Current Molecular Medicine.
Having been working in medical treatment, education, research of ophthalmology and blindness prevention for more than 30 years, he is one of the experts who carried out and promoted minimally invasive cataract surgeries in China. Currently, Dr. Liu is participating in several key research projects supported by National Key Research Plan, Key Program of National Natural Science Fund and Key International Cooperation Program of National Natural Science Fund etc.. He has authored more than 60 papers published in journals like NEJM, Nature, Science, BMJ, PNAS etc.. Dr. Liu received Arthur Lim Award of APAO in 2014.
